Leunig's Bistro, Summer Evening : Stephen allowed me to use the second floor of his famous salon on Church Street, in Burlington, Vermont, to paint this painting, and then encouraged me to show it to Bob Conlon, an owner of the equally famous Leunig's Bistro and Cafe, who bought it ! The Bar at The Inn at Sawmill Farm : This was a commissioned painting. It was 21 1/2" x 25 1/2" in size, and so much fun to do. The Williams family. owners of the Inn, in West Dover, Vemont, allowed me to take over the bar between breakfast and dinner for 2 days in a row, so I could paint this painting on site. At the end of the first day, I had to put little white dots on the floor under the legs of all the barstools and chairs, so I could place them exactly where they were when I returned to finish the painting the next day!
The Bar at The Inn at Sawmill Farm
This was a commissioned painting. It was 21 1/2" x 25 1/2" in size, and so much fun to do. Rendezvous : 18" x 14", Oil on Panel. This is the courtyard of the 1920s Balboa Inn, in Newport Beach, California. From the courtyard, one can cross the boardwalk, onto the beach, and see Catalina Island on the horizon. A perfect place for a rendezvous, I think.

Home Entertainment Center : This was my home for a month in downtown San Diego. I was charmed by the mosaic table which the owners of the condo had collected on a trip to Tunisia. I chose this as the subject of my first painting that month because it was such a great view of a sophisticated urban environment of our times . I love this painting. 18" x 14". Price includes frame.

Because this interior was located in San Diego's Little Italy, I thought about calling this painting Cucina. Either way, it's 18" x 14", price includes frame. If you buy both this one, and Home Entertainment Center (above) (because I think they'd be killer together), I'll discount the price of both 20%.
